Product Application
First Coat: The most efficient method of application is with a low-pressure pump type sprayer but can be brushed or rolled if desired. Nozzle pressure should not exceed 20 psi. Apply the sealer liberally and evenly flood the paving stone joint to achieve maximum joint sand stabilization.
If working with vertical surfaces, such as retaining walls, coat in the same manner above, working from the bottom of the wall to the top. Allow the sealer to run down the surface 8 to 10 inches always maintaing a wet edge to prevent "lapping".
Second Coat: If desired, apply within 1-2 hours of first coat application. Do not over apply this product as the surface may become slippery. Do not apply more than 2 coats of H&C paver sealer. In the final coat, feel free to add H&C's SharkGrip™ Slip Resistant Additive for a more slip resistant surface.
