Product Data Sheet

  1. Product Supplies

    • Paint brush, roller covers, frames
    • Paint tray, liner
    • Low pressure pump-up sprayer: nozzle not to exceed 20 psi (pounds per square inch)
  2. Product Preparation

This product should be applied to a clean surface that is free of dirt, oil, grease and mildew.  H&C Cleaner Degreaser will remove light soils, follow label instructions thoroughly.  All excess joint sand should be swept off the surface prior to application.

Do not apply Paver Sealer Gloss Solvent-Based if rain is imminent within 12 hours of application.

Newly installed pavers should weather a minimum of 60 days before sealing.

  3. Product Application

The most efficient method of application is with a low-pressure pump sprayer but can be brushed or rolled if desired. Nozzle pressure should not exceed 20 psi. Apply the sealer liberally and evenly; but avoide pooling or excess material. Back roll excess material to ensure an even finish.

Older, more weathered pavers may require a second coat of sealer to improve the final appearance; allow 4 hours minimum dry time between coats.

If working with vertical surfaces, such as retaining walls, coat in the same manner above, working from the bottom of the wall to the top. Allow the sealer to run down the surface 8 to 10 inches always maintaing a wet edge to prevent "lapping".

In the final coat, feel free to add H&C's SharkGrip™ Slip-Resistant Additive for a more slip resistant surface.
